On the Riviera Nayarit, a destination still little explored on the Pacific coast, the Marival Resort is ideal for those looking for comfort and convenience for the whole family or group of friends.
When choosing your accommodation in Riviera Nayarit, as with any destination, it is essential to keep in mind what you prioritize on your trip. Marival Resort & Suites is one of those “All Inclusive” resorts that many Brazilians love to relax and enjoy without worries with the whole family or if you are traveling with a group of friends looking for fun and comfort.
The “All Inclusive” hotels are a full plate (literally!) for those who prioritize the comfort and convenience of having everything at hand whenever they want without worries, as the service includes all the meals and drinks you want. If you fit into this profile, this will be an excellent option for your accommodation in Riviera Nayarit.

Marival Resort & Suites is a chain of 5-star All Inclusive resorts divided into 3 parts, among more recreational, more private and more luxurious options. I stayed at the Marival Resort, the recreational part, being a good option for those traveling with family and looking for accommodation in Riviera Nayarit.
O Marival Resort, it is in front of the beach with a wide area of very comfortable sun loungers, special pools for families and others exclusively for adults, several restaurants with buffet or à la carte food with a huge variety of local and international cuisine, spacious rooms and lots of comfortable. As the hotel chain is divided into 3 parts, the resort also offers a free shuttle service between the hotels in the chain so that guests have access to the different beaches.
Service and Food:
The service from the staff is attentive and efficient, which is important in an All Inclusive hotel that depends on service at all times. All staff speak English and Spanish and are willing to help with whatever you need.
Upon check-in, guests are greeted with a welcome drink and a wet, cold washcloth to cool off from the humid heat that prevails in the region.
The hotel has several restaurants with varied specialties. At each meal, the guest always has the option of using the all-you-can-eat buffet that is available 24 hours a day or the à la carte options that are served at specific times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, it is also possible to order various snacks and individual dishes in the pool or beach area, and of course, delicious drinks of all types to refresh and add a little more fun to your days at the resort.
Marival Resort has a 24-hour reception and personalized services for a fee. The food in the resort's large dining halls is more concerned with quantity than quality, as it is almost impossible to maintain a high level of quality in a resort made for mass tourism, but it is pleasant and compatible with the hotel's proposal, which is not of high luxury.
I recommend opting for the resort's à la carte options as they have fresher and more elaborate food.
Most rooms at the Marival Resort have views of the sea and the pool area that divides the hotel.
I stayed in the standard room and was satisfied. The entire room is quite large and very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, sofa and a small private balcony.
In the room, in addition to the standard amenities and products for guest comfort, the resort also offers a small tequila with the hotel's brand as a gift, giving a Mexican touch to the welcome.
Access for wheelchairs and disabled people seemed appropriate but a little complicated. The hotel offers ground floor room options and has elevators and ramps for access, but in many parts of the resort I have noticed an “up and down” that can be a little stressful for those who need the service.
Location and how to get there:
Although little explored by Brazilians, Riviera Nayarit It is a very touristy place, mainly between Americans and Canadians, which is why most international flights arriving in the Riviera and Puerto Vallarta are of North American origin.
I traveled on United Airlines with departure from Guarulhos, a stopover in Houston, United States, and arrival at Puerto Vallarta International Airport (Licensed Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport).
The Marival Resort is about 15 minutes away from the airport, one of the advantages during your stay. accommodation in Riviera Nayarit, and you can request a transfer at the time of your reservation. If you choose to rent a vehicle, the hotel is very well located and easy to find.
The most common and most advisable means of transport for traveling by Riviera Nayarit it is by car or hiring the service of a tourist agency with transport included. However, those who choose to stay at the Marival Resort, end up preferring to spend their days relaxing on the beach and enjoying the services it offers, since everything is included in the price.
Television / Internet:
All rooms have cable TV and the internet worked great throughout the resort, except for the beach, with no wavering and no limited amount of devices per guest.

Why is it worth taking out travel insurance for Mexico?
A fever or a fracture, you have to pay for a private consultation and you will have to pay around US$200, an infection can cost around US$8.500 and an appendicitis surgery costs an exorbitant amount of US$37.000. It's not worth risking any mishap that could spoil it all. You can check out the stories of our columnists who tell why it is worth taking out travel insurance.

Receive a SIM card at your home in España and use unlimited Internet in Riviera Nayarit and throughout Mexico
Are you also tired of only being able to use your cell phone at points that you find Wi-Fi free during the trip? And having to pay per day to be able to use a GPS in the rental car on the trip?
We couldn't take it anymore, especially because we wanted to post real-time photos of our trip on social media. In addition, Google is a great ally to find what we need while on vacation, such as information and places, and you can't just use it where you have Wi-Fi.
So we discovered one of the best solutions to end this problem, that you will no longer have to spend hours of travel in phone stores in the country, speaking an unknown language to get a SIM card. This is one of the tips we love to give our readers: America Chip.
Write it down: The company sends an international Chip to your home in Spain. When you're on the plane, just change your Brazilian SIM card for this international one. You will arrive in Mexico with unlimited internet, using your cell phone at will, as you use in España.
Arriving in Mexico, you can use it all day, anywhere. You'll save on GPS rentals, Skype credits, and you'll still be able to use social networks, Google, or search for anything on the internet all day. In addition, you can still call your home to send travel news as many times as you want via WhatsApp or Facetime.
