Antigua

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city of Antigua is worth a visit to discover the streets full of colonial buildings and constructions, allied with delicious cafes and restaurants for a sunny afternoon. It is worth visiting the San José School there.

Chichicastenango

Surrounded by valleys with mountains all around the horizon, Chichicastenango seems to be isolated in time and space from the rest of Guatemala. The atmosphere there has a bit of magic and history, and the walks through the big market that take place from Thursday to Sunday are very worthwhile.
